Our history

The beginning of a summit journey

No, it didn't start in a garage, like Steve Jobs. Nevertheless, the setting for the founding of konzepthaus on March 1, 2015 was illustrious and a little daring. Founder and Managing Director Thorsten Heissel created a place in Sonthofen in the Allgäu Alps to orchestrate the growing demand for individual software products and services. Today, many digital fans gather there.

In 2018, konzepthaus became a HubSpot partner. This decision was a milestone in our history. Thorsten Heissel: "I find HubSpot's agility absolutely convincing. Over 800 new features per year that work smoothly, a clear structure behind it in combination with a fair and reliable partner - for me, that fits in with what I wanted to achieve: to offer software that can be used sustainably! At konzepthaus, we focus on evolutionary development."

Stages Destination

In 2020, Monika Wisser becomes a co-partner, the team grows to 23 employees and 4 trainees and konzepthaus achieves HubSpot Gold Partner status. Strategically, the focus is now only on HubSpot as the central software solution. Monika Wisser: "By focusing on HubSpot as the central solution, we can offer our customers even better and customized services."

The summit

In 2024, konzepthaus becomes an official HubSpot Elite Solutions Partner, once again reaching the highest level in the Solutions Partner Program. The number of employees has now grown to over 40, a second office was opened in Hennef in 2021 and the move to a new modern office in Sonthofen, the headquarters, followed in 2024.

The view

The view from the summit is impressive - but from this height we realize that there are many more peaks ahead of us that we want to climb. We want to continue to grow, take on new challenges and tackle the next stages with passion and vision. The journey is far from over, it has only just begun. We are looking forward to what lies ahead.

Thorsten Heissel, founder and managing partner, is responsible for Operations and Technology. He has more than 35 years of experience in software development.

Before founding konzepthaus Web Solutions on March 1, 2015, he held management positions at various international corporations, including Bancos, UBIS and SunGard.

Monika Wisser has been a managing partner at konzepthaus Web Solutions since February 2020. She is responsible for Marketing & Sales.

She brings over 25 years of experience in strategic, classic and inbound marketing to the company. She integrated the area of inbound marketing and thus also HubSpot from her own DREIFACH agency for communication into konzepthaus Web Solutions. The qualified business economist (MBA Marketing, Management) previously worked in management positions in both industry and agencies.
