How STEGO successfully reorganized its international website

STEGO Elektrotechnik GmbH has been successfully using HubSpot for some time now - both as a CMS and as a marketing platform for the German market. However, when the company wanted to further develop its digital presence and roll it out internationally, it encountered considerable challenges.

The agency previously commissioned was no longer able to meet the growing requirements. Important functions such as a dynamic calculation tool and a product finder were not fully functional. At the same time, the maintenance effort for over 100 product pages with more than 500 device variants was extremely high. In particular, the planned rollout of the website in nine other language versions came to a standstill as a result - a critical point for an internationally active company like STEGO.

A systematic restart: our approach for a scalable solution

This is where we at konzepthaus came into play. Our task was to develop a concept that was based on the existing HubSpot platform, but was much more powerful, structured and future-proof.

At the heart of the solution was a modular system that enables easy maintenance by the marketing team and at the same time masters the complexity of the content. Instead of rigid page structures, we rely on flexible modules that can be put together individually - exactly in line with the respective requirements. Central functions such as the product finder have also been technically revised so that they are now stable and scalable.

A particular focus was placed on multilingualism. The new structure creates the basis for STEGO to be able to roll out internationally efficiently in future - without additional system breaks or manual workarounds.

The result: a scalable, modular website based on HubSpot that can be maintained independently and quickly by internal marketing, displays complex content clearly and is optimally prepared for the international rollout.
